How to Outline Fonts in Adobe Illustrator?

Alternatively, just select the text you want to outline, hold down the Shift>Control>O keys on the PC at the same time and your text will be outlined.
To achieve the same on MACOS, hold down the Shift> Command> O keys with your text selected. and your text will be outlined.
What is the difference between outlined text and Live text?
Live text is the actual editable font that you have as you create your design. You can save the file and open it later to edit the text. This kind of file is not preferable when printing. Outlined text on the other hand is not editable and you have to retype everything to edit the text. Outline text is simply Editable or live text converted to paths and points instead of a font.
